ROYAL OAK, Mich., April 25, 2018 – Airfoil Group, an award-winning strategic communications and marketing firm, was named a finalist for the world’s largest public relations awards program, The Holmes Report SABRE Awards. Standing among the prestigious company of 300 other gold SABRE Awards finalists, from a field of more than 2,000 entries, Airfoil Group is being recognized for its lead-generating and brand-building “10 Under 10” SMB Engagement Campaign for Microsoft.

In tandem with the small-to-midsize business marketing organization at Microsoft, Airfoil developed a content marketing campaign to connect the brand to a powerful audience segment: small business owners (SMBs). Spotlighting inspirational true stories about “microbusinesses” with fewer than ten employees, Airfoil designed an e-book to discuss the challenges, motivations and eureka moments of tiny companies doing big things. It was positioned to drive engagement with SMBs by presenting shining examples of small businesses thriving through the power of technology.

An integrated campaign approach reached millions of small businesses in the months following launch and drove actionable leads into the Microsoft sales funnel. The campaign supported Microsoft’s goal to forge relationships with the small business segment and positioned its technology solutions as catalysts for SMBs to launch, grow and thrive.
